Saisystems Technology is seeking a Data Security and Cloud Engineer to support the integration and validation of enterprise authorization frameworks across applications and modern data platforms. You will work with application architects, security teams, and data engineers to understand architectures, define authorization integration patterns, and troubleshoot access-control issues.

Job Description: Data Security and Cloud Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for a Data Security and Cloud Engineer to support the integration and validation of enterprise authorization frameworks across applications and modern data platforms. The role involves collaborating with application architects, security teams, and data engineers to understand application architectures, define authorization integration patterns, and troubleshoot access-control issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Application Architects and technical stakeholders to understand application design, architecture, and security requirements.
• Evaluate application integration patterns and determine how authorization services should be invoked across different architectures.
• Test and validate authorization policies using REST APIs and tools such as Postman.
• Troubleshoot policy evaluation failures and access-control issues by analyzing API requests and responses.
• Work with application, security, and data engineering teams to support the successful integration of authorization frameworks.
• Understand data platform architectures and support authorization integration with Databricks, Snowflake, and Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Validate authentication, authorization, and API integration flows in cloud-based enterprise environments.

Required Skills and Experience

• Understanding of application architecture, API integration, authentication, authorization, and access-control concepts.
• Hands-on experience with REST APIs and tools such as Postman for testing and troubleshooting.
• Working knowledge of Databricks, Snowflake, and Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Familiarity with cloud-based enterprise environments, data platform architectures, and security requirements.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience integrating authorization services or policy-based access-control frameworks with enterprise applications.
• Exposure to cloud-based data platforms and data security practices.
