Job summary

datavruti is seeking a Data Scientist in Chennai for an on-site, permanent role. The candidate should have 5–7 years of hands-on experience in data science, ML, forecasting, and statistical modelling.

Strong Python, SQL, and analytics tool experience is required to build end-to-end ML solutions and scalable data pipelines. Responsibilities include designing ML models, forecasting, EDA, model evaluation, and deployment readiness.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in statistics, predictive modelling, feature engineering, model evaluation, and time-series forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy Machine Learning models for business-critical use cases.
• Build and optimize traditional ML models such as Logistic Regression, Decision Trees, Support Vector Machines, and Clustering Algorithms.
• Develop forecasting solutions using ARIMA/SARIMA and Exponential Smoothing.
• Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA), feature engineering, and data validation.
• Evaluate model performance using statistical and business metrics.
