FedEx Logistics is seeking a Data Scientist to analyze strategic business objectives, develop ML models, apply NLP, and communicate insights through visualization. You will prototype applications, manage projects, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Requirements include a Master’s degree in CS/MIS/Math/Stats and 2–5 years of relevant experience; fluency in English and strong analytical, numerical, and planning skills are essential.

• Relevant work experience as a data scientist based on standard levels (2–5 years).
• Fluency in English and strong analytical abilities.

• Analyze strategic business objectives and leverage advanced analytical research to drive data-driven decision-making.
• Utilize statistical and mathematical programming techniques for machine learning, predictive analytics, and other advanced data modeling tasks.
• Develop and implement machine learning algorithms and predictive analytics models to extract insights and make future predictions.
• Apply natural language processing techniques to extract meaningful insights from unstructured textual data.
• Develop algorithms and methods for efficient information retrieval from large datasets.
• Design and optimize network simulation models to improve efficiency and performance.
• Develop automated solutions to streamline processes and increase operational efficiency.
• Prototype and develop applications to demonstrate the feasibility and functionality of data-driven solutions.
• Manage data science projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and deliverables.
• Communicate complex analytical findings effectively through data visualization and storytelling techniques.

Responsible for analyzing strategic business objectives, utilizing statistical and mathematical programming techniques for machine learning and predictive analytics, developing and implementing algorithms and models, applying natural language processing, designing network simulation models, developing automated solutions, prototyping applications, managing projects, and communicating complex findings as a Data Scientist.

1. Analyze strategic business objectives and leverage advanced analytical research to drive data-driven decision-making.
2. Utilize statistical and mathematical programming techniques for machine learning, predictive analytics, and other advanced data modeling tasks.
3. Develop and implement machine learning algorithms and predictive analytics models to extract insights and make future predictions.
4. Apply natural language processing techniques to extract meaningful insights from unstructured textual data.
5. Develop algorithms and methods for efficient information retrieval from large datasets.
6. Design and optimize network simulation models to improve efficiency and performance.

Education: Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, MIS, Mathematics, Statistics, or similar discipline.

Relevant work experience as a data scientist based on the following number of years:

• Standard I: Two (2) years
• Standard II: Three (3) years
• Senior I: Four (4) years
• Senior II: Five (5) years
