Job summary

Globant in India invites a Senior Data Scientist - GenAI to join our CES Development team. You will design and deliver scalable LLM applications and GenAI workflows that enhance customer experiences and enterprise processes.

The role requires hands-on work with Vertex AI, vector databases, LangChain, and ADK for agent orchestration, with a focus on security, guardrails, and robust evaluation. Locations include Pune, Bangalore, Indore, and Hyderabad.

Qualifications

• Experience with GenAI and LLM integration in real-world projects.
• Strong Python development and API design skills.
• Hands-on with vector databases and RAG implementations.
• Expertise in prompt engineering and secure AI systems.
• Familiarity with Vertex AI and cloud deployment workflows.
• Knowledge of multi-agent architectures and human-in-the-loop concepts.

We seek a Data Scientist - CES Development : GenAI, Senior-Level who shares our passion for innovation and change. This role is critical to helping our business partners evolve and adapt to consumers' personalized expectations in this new technological era.

What will help you succeed

Generic Skills (Must Have)

• Python, FastAPI, REST APIs, async processing.
• LLM application development
• RAG implementation with vector databases
• Prompt engineering, tool calling, function calling, structured outputs.
• LLM security: prompt injection, data leakage, access control, guardrails.

GCP Skills (Must Have)

• VertexAI : Alternative vector databases: Vector Search, Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS, Chroma, pgvector, or equivalent.
• Agent Orchestration using ADK: Alternatives: LangChain, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel, CrewAI, AutoGen, or equivalent.
• Cloud Run: Production deployment on Cloud Run, GKE, or equivalent.
• Evaluation using Vertex AI : Alternatives: Evals, RAGAS, custom eval frameworks, golden datasets, regression tests.

Nice to have (Trainable)

• Google Agent Development Kit.
• Agent Engine / Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform.
• Model Armor.
• Agent observability and tracing.
• Multi-agent architecture.
• Human-in-the-loop approval flows.
• Enterprise knowledge graph / search integration.
