Job summary

Birlasoft in Pune, India seeks a Sr Architect for Data Science + Databricks AI/ML to design end-to-end GenAI and AI/ML solutions. You'll implement embeddings, RAG, and AI agents, build scalable pipelines, and ensure governance across enterprise AI deployments.

You will lead model tuning, lifecycle management with MLOps, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business problems into AI-driven outcomes. Strong Python/PySpark and SQL skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, Statistics, or related field.
• Advanced certifications in AI/ML, Snowflake, or Databricks preferred.
• Proven experience implementing Snowflake Cortex and Databricks AI stack.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop end-to-end AI/ML and GenAI solutions using Snowflake Cortex and Databricks Ecosystem.
• Build intelligent apps with Databricks Genie and Agent Bricks for conversational analytics.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop end-to-end AI/ML and GenAI solutions leveraging Snowflake Cortex and Databricks Mosaic AI ecosystem.
• Build intelligent applications using Databricks Genie and Agent Bricks for conversational analytics and AI agents.
• Develop scalable feature engineering pipelines using modern data platforms.
• Implement LLM-based use cases including RAG, embeddings, and AI assistants.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business problems into AI-driven solutions.

Mandatory Skills (Strict Requirement)

• Hands-on experience with Snowflake Cortex (LLM functions, embeddings, model inference, AI services).
• Strong expertise in Databricks Mosaic AI, Databricks Genie, and Agent Bricks.
• Proven experience in building and deploying GenAI, LLM, and AI agent-based solutions.
• Strong programming expertise in Python, PySpark, and ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
• Experience with Snowflake Snowpark and Databricks Delta Lake.
• Strong understanding of MLOps, model lifecycle, and CI/CD practices.
• Expertise in structured and unstructured data processing at scale.
• Strong SQL and distributed computing experience.
• Experience integrating AI/ML APIs within enterprise ecosystems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with vector databases and RAG frameworks.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with MLflow, experiment tracking, and model registry.
• Knowledge of BI tools like Tableau or Power BI.
• Relevant certifications in Snowflake or Databricks AI/ML.

Experience Requirement

• 6-12 years of experience in Data Science, AI/ML, and GenAI roles.
• Mandatory proven experience in Snowflake Cortex and Databricks AI stack implementations.

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, Statistics, or related field.
• Advanced certifications in AI/ML, Snowflake, or Databricks preferred.
