Job summary

AlgoLeap Technologies Pvt Ltd. in Bengaluru is seeking a data science lead with 4+ years of experience to design and operationalize analytics for supply chain planning. You will build models in Python, perform time series forecasting at scale and drive insights using the o9 platform.

The role requires strong programming skills, data mining expertise, and experience with ML frameworks for demand sensing and forecasting, plus excellent presentation and communication abilities.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Data Science and Analytics in CPG or Manufacturing domain
• Bachelor's degree in CS/Math/Stats/Economics/Engineering or related field
• Strong programming skills in Python for Data Science
• Strong analytical techniques, data mining and handling large data sets
• Deep knowledge of statistical and ML algorithms for time series forecasting
• Experience in time series forecasting at scale (XGBoost, CatBoost, LightGBM, Neural Nets)
• Experience in custom EDA and output validations
• Experience in building scalable ML frameworks for demand sensing, feature engineering and testing
• Experience in supply chain analytics (demand/supply planning, market intelligence, pricing/inventory)
• Strong presentation and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Design and operationalize descriptive, predictive and prescriptive analytics for supply chain planning
• Analyze business, collect data, build models in Python, present insights using o9 platform
• Apply ML techniques (clustering, regression, ensembles, neural nets, time series)
• Develop and deploy models for demand sensing/forecasting, anomaly detection and simulations
• Leverage AI/ML advances to solve business problems
• Synthesize complex information and communicate results with clear assumptions
• Create business metrics and new ones as needed
• Collaborate with clients, PM, architects and data engineers for successful o9 projects

What You Will Do

• Design and operationalize various kinds of descriptive, predictive and prescriptive analytics and data science relevant in the supply chain planning space.
• Understand business; identify areas of improvement opportunities; collect and analyze data; build models in Python; and present results & insights using the o9 platform.
• Apply a variety of machine learning techniques (clustering, regression, ensemble learning, neural nets, time series etc.) to their real-world advantages/drawbacks
• Develop and deploy models for demand sensing/forecasting, Anomaly detection, Simulation and stochastic models, Market Intelligence etc
• Use latest advancements in AI/ML to solve business problems
• Analyze problems by synthesizing complex information, evaluating alternate methods, and articulating the result with the relevant assumptions/reasons
• Application of common business metrics and the ability to generate new ones as needed
• Work collaboratively with Clients, Project Management, Solution Architects, Consultants and Data Engineers to ensure successful delivery of o9 projects
