PwC Acceleration Center India is seeking a Data Scientist - AI/ML - Engineer - Manager to lead design, development and deployment of data science solutions across our Cloud Engineering, Data & Analytics practice.

You will guide teams, coach junior professionals, and own client workstreams with business judgment and technical precision, delivering practical outcomes and responsible for cross‑practice delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; minimum 8 years of experience; strong English communication skills.
• Master’s degree and certifications in DS/Cloud/ML preferred.
• Proven ability to design, develop, deploy ML solutions with business impact.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI/ML initiatives across data science workstreams from problem framing to model deployment.
• Develop predictive models, neural networks, and NLP solutions addressing business challenges.
• Translate diverse data into features via data modeling, pipelines, and quality checks.
• Apply statistical analysis and ML methods to generate actionable insights.
• Guide technical design choices for DS workflows, tooling, and scalable implementations.
• Mentor 5–10 team members on analytical methods and coding standards.
• Review model performance, troubleshoot production issues, refine algorithms.
• Collaborate with data engineering and tech teams to align solutions with platform capabilities.

As a Data Scientist - AI/ML - Engineer - Manager you will lead the design, development, and deployment of data science solutions that support AI‑driven automation and cognitive solutions within our Cloud Engineering, Data & Analytics practice. As a Manager you will guide teams, coach junior professionals, and take ownership of client workstreams while applying business judgment, technology awareness, and attention to detail across delivery. In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will apply your skills in machine learning, model development, data analysis, and solution delivery to help shape practical outcomes for client needs and contribute to work across data science and engineering.

Responsibilities

• Leading AI and machine learning initiatives across data science workstreams from problem framing through model deployment


• Developing predictive models, neural networks, and natural language processing solutions that address complex business and client challenges


• Translating large and varied data sources into usable features through data modeling, pipeline development, and quality checks


• Applying statistical analysis, machine learning methods, and data‑driven decision making to generate actionable insights


• Guiding technical design choices for data science workflows, tooling, and scalable implementation approaches


• Mentoring team members on analytical methods, coding standards, and model evaluation techniques


• Reviewing model performance, troubleshooting production issues, and refining algorithms to improve reliability and accuracy


• Collaborating with data engineering and technology teams to align solution design with platform capabilities and delivery needs

What You Must Have

• At least a Bachelor's degree


• At least 8 years of experience


• Oral and written proficiency in English required
