EdgeVerve Systems in Chennai is seeking a senior data scientist to lead AI initiatives. You will apply advanced statistics, build ML models, and deploy APIs for scalable insights. Expect 7-10+ years of experience and strong analytical problem-solving skills.

You will collaborate with business partners, transform data into actionable reports, and drive explainable AI practices. Proficiency in Python/SQL and knowledge of ML techniques are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years of experience in data analytics or AI.
• Proficient in Python/SQL for data manipulation and insight extraction.
• Experience with advanced ML algorithms and statistics.

Role & responsibilities

• Minimum 7- 10+ years of Experience required Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience using statistical computer languages (Python, SLQ, etc.) to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets.
• Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and concepts (regression, properties of distributions, statistical tests and proper usage, etc.)
• Experience with applications Experience creating and using advanced machine learning algorithms and statistics: regression, simulation, scenario analysis, modeling, clustering, decision trees, neural networks.
• Should be able to host the models and make them api convertible.
• Good communication and presentation skills in order to explain your work to people who don't understand the mechanics behind data analysis.
