Job summary

Atain is seeking an experienced Data Scientist to join our remote team in India. You will design and deploy predictive models using Python and SQL, work with large-scale datasets in Databricks, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven insights.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in data science, ML, and analytics, with hands-on experience in traditional AI, forecasting, optimization, and recommender systems. This is a full-time remote role for a candidate located in India.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Data Science, ML, Analytics, or related field.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Hands-on experience with forecasting, optimization, clustering, regression, and recommender systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement advanced ML and statistical models for business problems.

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Data Scientist with 7+ years of hands-on experience in traditional AI, machine learning, advanced analytics, and statistical modeling. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in developing and deploying analytical models using Python and SQL, with experience working on large-scale datasets in Databricks.

The candidate will be responsible for solving complex business problems through data-driven approaches, building predictive models, and delivering actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement advanced machine learning and statistical models for business problems.
• Build solutions using forecasting, optimization, clustering, regression, and recommendation models.
• Perform statistical analysis, hypothesis testing, feature engineering, and exploratory data analysis.
• Work with large and complex datasets using Databricks, SQL, and Python.
• Develop predictive and prescriptive analytics solutions to support business decision-making.
• Identify patterns, trends, and relationships within large datasets and translate findings into actionable insights.

Education
