Job summary

NutaNXT Technologies in Pune is seeking a Data Scientist to transform data into actionable insights and build ML models that drive business value. You will work with Python, SQL, and cloud data services to design end-to-end data solutions.

The role requires 3–6 years of experience, strong analytical skills, and hands-on experience with Pandas, NumPy, and ML frameworks. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver AI-powered solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of experience in Data Science or analytics.
• Strong Python for data analysis and modeling.
• Hands-on with Pandas, NumPy, Seaborn, and Matplotlib.
• Experience building ML models with scikit-learn and/or TensorFlow.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with SQL Server, Oracle, Azure SQL, or similar.
• Experience consuming and integrating RESTful APIs.
• Solid statistics, data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation knowledge.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and interpret data from multiple sources.
• Design, develop, and deploy ML models to solve business problems.
• Conduct EDA and present insights with data visualizations.
• Build predictive, classification, and recommendation models.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, analyze, and interpret structured and unstructured data from multiple sources.
• Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models to solve business problems.
• Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) and present actionable insights using data visualization techniques.
• Build predictive models, classification models, and recommendation systems using machine learning algorithms.
• Develop data pipelines and integrate data from SQL databases, Azure services, and RESTful APIs.
• Work with large datasets stored in Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, Azure SQL, and Azure Blob Storage.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, and software development teams to deliver AI-driven solutions.
• Optimize model performance through feature engineering, hyperparameter tuning, and model evaluation.
• Document models, methodologies, and findings while following best practices for reproducibility and governance.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in Data Science, AI, and Machine Learning technologies.

Required Skills

• 3–6 years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, or Advanced Analytics.
• Strong proficiency in Python for data analysis and model development.
• Hands-on experience with Python libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Seaborn, and Matplotlib.
• Experience building machine learning models using scikit-learn and/or TensorFlow.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle Database, Azure SQL, and Azure Blob Storage.
• Experience consuming and integrating RESTful APIs.
• Solid understanding of statistics, data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation techniques.
• Strong SQL skills for querying and analyzing large datasets.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with Azure Data Services and cloud-based analytics platforms.
• Knowledge of MLOps concepts and model deployment practices.
• Familiarity with Git, Docker, or CI/CD pipelines is an added advantage.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
• Azure Data Scientist Associate or related cloud/data certifications are a plus.
