Job summary

Skillventory is seeking a data science professional to address Lending and risk analytics in the BFSI sector. You will build and apply statistical and ML models using Python/R, Spark andDatabricks to translate business problems into data-driven solutions.

You will mentor analysts, collaborate across Credit, Policy, and Product teams, and contribute to model deployment and cloud-based workstreams. Strong BFSI data experience is essential.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on data analysis using Python/R in BFSI
• Strong understanding of credit bureau data and data-driven decision making
• Experience translating business problems into data science solutions

Responsibilities

• Mentor data scientists/analysts and collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Present insights to management and translate analyses into actionable recommendations
• Lead model deployment activities and support cloud-based solutions (AWS) where relevant
• Apply statistical and ML methods to risk, pricing and fraud use cases

Job description

• Business & Risk Analytics: Understand lending/credit-risk business problems and translate them into data science solutions across Risk Policy, Credit, Fraud, KYC and Pricing.
• Data Science & ML: Build statistical and machine-learning models using Python/R, Spark and Databricks, with knowledge of Logistic Regression, Linear Regression, GBM and Deep Learning.
• BFSI & Bureau Data: 4+ years of hands-on Data Analysis using Python/R in BFSI, with strong understanding of credit bureau data, business drivers and data-driven decision making.
• Leadership & Deployment: Mentor data scientists/analysts, collaborate with Credit, Policy, Collections, Operations and Product teams, present insights to management, with model deployment and AWS/cloud experience preferred.Role & responsibilities
