Job summary

RapidBrains in India is seeking an experienced data scientist/optimization expert to design, develop, and deploy advanced optimization models with emphasis on linear programming and scalable solutions.

You will work with large datasets, leverage Python and Gurobi, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into analyti cal solutions, while independently managing end-to-end projects and ensuring production-ready deployments.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Data Science, Optimization, or related fields.
• Strong programming expertise in Python.
• Hands-on experience with Gurobi or similar optimization solvers.
• Solid understanding of linear optimization techniques.
• Experience working with large datasets and data processing frameworks.
• Familiarity with Git for version control.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Retail or Logistics domain preferred.
