Job summary

Impact Makers in Hyderabad seeks a hands-on Senior AI Data Scientist to solve business challenges using Data Science, ML, and Agentic AI. You will design scalable AI solutions, work with AI coding agents, and drive deployment from problem framing to production.

The role requires 6–8 years of AI/ML delivery, strong Python and SQL, cloud experience (Azure/AWS/GCP), experience with LLMs and RAG, and excellent communication with stakeholders. Exposure to Retail/CPG/Pharma is a plus.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years in AI/ML/Advanced Analytics delivery.
• Experience building end-to-end Data & AI/ML solutions from problem definition to deployment.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, statistics and modern ML techniques.
• Hands-on with LLMs, AI Agents, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).

Role Overview

We are looking for a hands-on Senior AI Data Scientist who is passionate about solving business problems using Data Science, Machine Learning, and Agentic AI. The ideal candidate combines structured problem solving, technical depth, and business acumen to develop scalable Data & AI solutions to address ambiguous business challenges. You will leverage modern AI technologies and AI coding agents to rapidly design, develop, and deploy high-quality solutions that create measurable business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders to understand, structure, and solve complex business problems using AI and Data Science.
• Design, develop, and deploy scalable AI and Machine Learning solutions that deliver measurable business value.
• Apply analytical thinking, experimentation, and data-driven approaches to solve business and operational challenges.
• Build AI-enabled applications, including intelligent assistants, knowledge processing solutions, predictive models, and workflow automation.
• Leverage AI coding agents (e.g. Claude, Antigravity or similar tools) for specification-driven development, rapid prototyping, testing, and engineering productivity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver production-ready solutions and contribute to reusable AI assets and best practices.
• Communicate analytical insights and recommendations effectively to business stakeholders.
• Takes the initiative to stay informed about the latest developments in the AI field and proactively incorporates relevant advancements into the solution development process.

Experience & Skills

• 6–8 years of hands-on experience delivering AI, Machine Learning, or Advanced Analytics solutions.
• Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, statistics, and modern Machine Learning techniques.
• Experience of building end-to-end Data & AI/ML solutions from problem definition through deployment.
• Experience with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), AI Agents, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and modern AI application development.
• Proven experience using AI coding assistants (Claude, Cursor, Codex, GitHub Copilot, or similar) to accelerate solution development and improve development productivity.
• Demonstrated ability to decompose ambiguous business problems into structured analytical approaches and deliver practical, innovative solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to present technical concepts to business audiences.
• Eperience of leading and guiding work of subordinates
• Preferred domain experience in Retail, Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), Pharmaceuticals, Manufacturing, or related industries.

Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Operations Research, Economics, or another quantitative discipline.

Good to Have

• Exposure to Snowflake, Databricks, MLflow, or MLOps practices.
