Job summary

eazygurus is seeking a highly analytical Data Scientist to extract insights from large datasets and build data-driven solutions. You will apply statistical analysis, machine learning, and data visualization to solve business problems and support strategic decisions.

The role involves collaborating with product, engineering and business teams, developing predictive and descriptive models, and communicating results through dashboards and reports. Remote/on-site/hybrid options are available.

Qualifications

Job Description

We are looking for a highly analytical and curious Data Scientist to extract insights from large datasets and build data-driven solutions. The role involves applying statistical analysis, machine learning, and data visualization to solve complex business problems and support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze structured and unstructured data to derive actionable insights
• Build, train, and deploy machine learning models
• Perform data cleaning, feature engineering, and exploratory data analysis (EDA)
• Collaborate with business, product, and engineering teams to define data problems
• Develop predictive and descriptive models for forecasting and optimization
• Create dashboards and reports to communicate insights to stakeholders
• Monitor model performance and improve accuracy over time
• Stay updated with latest data science techniques and tools

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Python or R
• Experience with ML libraries (Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch)
• Solid understanding of statistics, probability, and linear algebra
• Experience with SQL and data querying
• Knowledge of data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib, Seaborn)
• Experience handling large datasets and data pipelines
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with NLP, computer vision, or time-series analysis
