Job summary

Axtria - Ingenious Insights is seeking a Data Scientist with 5+ years of hands-on experience to build scalable ML models and deploy them in production.

You will work with Spark (Scala/Python), TensorFlow/PyTorch, NLP techniques, and Python data-science stacks, in cross-functional teams using Git, Jira, and Confluence. Cloud exposure (AWS/Azure/GCP) is a plus.

Experience with pharma data and patient analytics is highly valued, and a drive to deliver results within deadlines is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on data science experience in analytics and ML.
• Strong proficiency with Spark and Java/Python for production ML.
• Experience with NLP, model deployment, and cloud platforms.

Job Summary

Data Scientist with good hands‑on experience of 5+ years in developing state‑of‑the‑art and scalable machine learning models and their operationalization, leveraging off‑the‑shelf workbench production.

Job Responsibilities

• Hands‑on experience in Python data‑science and math packages such as NumPy, Pandas, Scikit‑learn, Seaborn, PyCaret, and Matplotlib.
• Proficiency in Python and common machine learning frameworks, including TensorFlow, NLTK, Stanford NLP, PyTorch, Caffe, Keras, SparkML and OpenAI APIs.
• Experience working in large teams and using collaboration tools such as Git, Jira, and Confluence.
• Good understanding of any cloud platform – AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Understanding of the commercial pharma landscape and patient data/analytics would be a huge plus.
• Willingness to learn, ability to accept challenging environments, and confidence in delivering results within timelines.
• Self‑motivated and self‑driven to find solutions for problems.
• Capability to mentor and guide medium‑to‑large sized teams.

Job Requirements

• Strong experience with Spark using Scala/Python.
• Strong proficiency in building, training, evaluating, and deploying state‑of‑the‑art machine learning models using Java.
• Proficiency in statistical and probabilistic methods such as SVM, decision trees, bagging and boosting techniques, and clustering.
• Proficiency in core NLP techniques such as text classification, named entity recognition, topic modeling, and sentiment analysis. Understanding of generative AI / large language models / transformers would be a plus.
• B.Tech or BE in Computer Science / Computer Applications from a Tier 1-2 college with 5+ years of proven experience in Advanced Analytics or Machine Learning.
• Master’s degree in Machine Learning, Statistics, Econometrics, or a related discipline from a Tier 1-2 college with 5+ years of experience.
