Job summary

Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India Private Limited in Bengaluru seeks a Data Scientist to build and optimize data pipelines using Python and PySpark, with Git for version control and strong SQL skills. Azure cloud expertise (Databricks, ADF, ADLS, AKV) is required, plus Docker and REST API exposure.

Hands-on AI/ML experience, plus familiarity with React, Django, or modern CSS frameworks, and time-series data analysis.

Qualifications

• Advanced Python and PySpark programming skills required.

• Expertise in SQL is a must.

• Exposure to Docker and REST APIs is beneficial.

• Strong communication and ability to document technical specifications.

Description

• Advanced Python and Pyspark programming skills for advanced data engineering are required with version controlling using GIT
• Azure: Cloud working experience is must. Databricks, ADF, ADLS, AKV
• Expertise in SQL is must
• Good to have AI/ML hands on
• Good to have exposure with Docker and REST API
• Hands-on experience with at least one of the following technologies: React, Django, or modern CSS frameworks is preferred.
• Understanding & aggregation of time-series data
• Good to have Tableau/Power BI knowledge
• Communicate with stakeholders, including project sponsors, team members, and end-users, to keep them informed about project progress and address any concerns they may have.
• Develop and maintain project documentation, including the migration plan, technical specifications, and test results.
• Basic Automotive knowledge is an added advantage.
