Job summary

VBeyond Corporation in India seeks an experienced Consultant Data Scientist to drive AI initiatives from model development to production. You will build ML models, develop APIs with Flask/FastAPI, and deploy using Docker and Kubernetes in a remote-friendly setup.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of hands-on data science experience, strong Python skills, and practical exposure to Generative AI, NLP, and computer vision.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of relevant experience in Data Science / Machine Learning / AI.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python.
• Strong understanding of Machine Learning and Deep Learning.
• Experience with PyTorch and/or TensorFlow.
• Hands-on experience with Generative AI / Transformers / LLMs.
• Experience with ML model deployment / productionization.
• Good understanding of Docker and preferably Kubernetes.
• Exposure to CI/CD and MLOps practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Exposure to NLP and/or Computer Vision is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement Machine Learning and Deep Learning models for real-world business use cases.
• Perform EDA, statistical analysis, feature engineering and data preprocessing on large datasets.
• Develop and deploy ML/AI applications using Python, Flask and/or FastAPI.
• Work on Generative AI, Transformers, LLMs and other advanced AI techniques.
• Deploy ML models and AI applications into production environments.
• Work with Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD for application/model deployment.
• Stay updated with emerging developments in AI/ML, Deep Learning and Generative AI.
• Communicate analytical findings, model outcomes and recommendations effectively to technical and business stakeholders.
