Job summary

eBay is seeking an analytics professional to join the Supply Chain Analytics team in Bengaluru. You will use data, statistics, experimentation, modeling, and AI to solve supply-chain and shipping problems and drive measurable business impact.

You will design and analyze experiments, build dashboards and KPI frameworks, and collaborate with Product, Operations, and Engineering to translate business questions into analytical solutions. Experience with SQL and Python/R is required.

• Hands-on experience with basic statistics.
• Strong understanding of A/B testing, experimentation, and measurement.
• Strong business partnership and stakeholder-management capability.
• Working knowledge of SQL and Python/R.
• Ability to independently translate ambiguous business questions into analytical frameworks.
• Interest or experience in AI/GenAI applications in analytics.

Responsibilities

• Apply basic statistics and predictive modeling to diagnose business problems, identify drivers, and develop actionable recommendations.
• Design and analyze A/B experiments and quasi-experiments to measure the impact of product, process, and operational changes.
• Partner closely with Product, Operations, Engineering, Customer Experience, and Business teams to translate business problems into analytical solutions.
• Develop dashboards, analytical frameworks, and KPI/measurement strategies for supply-chain initiatives.
• Apply AI/GenAI and automation to improve analytical workflows, root-cause analysis, forecasting, and decision-making.
• Communicate insights effectively to senior stakeholders and influence decisions through data-driven storytelling.
• Collaborate across eBay analytics teams to identify opportunities spanning Shipping, Seller Experience, Customer Experience, Search, and Monetization.
