Job summary

Airbus India Private Limited seeks a highly motivated Data Science Intern to gain practical experience in applying data science to real-world aerospace challenges. The internship is anticipated to last 6 months, starting January 2027, and will contribute to advanced aviation projects in India.

You will assist in data collection and cleaning, apply statistical analyses and machine learning, and help develop predictive models.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
• Strong foundational understanding of statistical concepts and machine learning & Deep learning algorithms.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language commonly used in data science (e.g., Python, R).
• Familiarity with data manipulation libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy) and machine learning frameworks (e.g., Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Basic understanding of SQL for data querying and retrieval.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly.
• A keen interest in the aerospace industry and a desire to learn and contribute to cutting-edge projects.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
