Job summary

V2 Solutions in Kolkata seeks a skilled data scientist to join the team. You will apply strong Python expertise, ML methodology, and statistics to preprocess data, engineer features, and build end-to-end models from training to deployment.

You will handle large datasets with SQL, evaluate and tune models for performance, and explore deep learning with TensorFlow or PyTorch. Experience in NLP/time series/recommendation systems and cloud familiarity (AWS/Azure/GCP) is a plus.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python with NumPy, Pandas, and scikit-learn.
• Hands-on experience with ML algorithms: regression, classification, and clustering.
• Solid knowledge of statistics and probability.
• Experience in data preprocessing, feature engineering, and data analysis.
• Proven experience building end-to-end ML models (training, validation, deployment).
• Strong SQL skills and ability to work with large datasets.
• Experience with model evaluation and tuning techniques.
• Exposure to deep learning (TensorFlow or PyTorch).
