Job summary

Morgan Stanley in Mumbai seeks an Associate for the Internal Audit Data Risk team to support audit execution across data risk management activities in the first and second lines of defense. The role focuses on applying audit tools, analyzing data, and communicating risk and impact clearly to stakeholders while managing multiple deliverables.

You will work with front, middle and back offices and engage with diverse teams across offices globally.

We're seeking an Associate to join our Internal Audit Data Risk team, supporting audit execution of the Firm's data risk management activities across the first and second lines of defense.

In the Audit division, we provide senior management an objective and independent assessment of the Firm's internal control environment for risk management and governance. This is an Associate level position within the Business Audit, which is responsible for inspecting controls in front, middle and back offices

What You'll Do In The Role

• Execute a wide range of assurance activities (e.g., audits, continuous monitoring, closure verification)
• Understand and adopt new audit tools and techniques
• Develop clear and concise messages regarding risk and business impact within relevant coverage area
• Identify and leverage data to incorporate into analysis of coverage area
• Collaborate with a wide range of internal stakeholders to build effective working relationships and to execute on team deliverables
• Effectively manage multiple deliverables while delivering high-quality work

• Understanding of audit principles, tools and processes (e.g., risk assessments, planning, testing, reporting and continuous monitoring)
