Job summary

Dodge Construction Network is seeking an experienced Data Quality Engineering Lead to ensure master data quality and drive quality strategy across product teams. The role blends engineering and quality, embedding testing across the SDLC.

The position is full-time and reports to the VP, Engineering, with a hybrid work setup in Kochi, India. Strong SQL, Python/R, Spark, and AWS automation skills are required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in software and quality engineering, with at least 3 years leading data quality engineering.
• Proficient in SQL
• Proficient in Python or R
• Proficient with Git for source control
• Experience developing QA automation on AWS or equivalent cloud platforms
• Experience using AI development tools
• Proficient in Apache Spark (pyspark)

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain scalable, maintainable data quality automation.
• Implement test reporting and analytics solutions or custom dashboards to surface quality insights.
• Utilize AWS services relevant to quality engineering (CodePipeline, CodeBuild, ECS, Lambda, S3, CloudWatch Synthetics).
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, BitBucket pipelines, or AWS CodePipeline.
• Define and govern a quality strategy across multiple product teams, including test standards, tooling selection, and metrics frameworks.
• Lead and mentor QA engineers and SDETs across automated, manual, and exploratory testing disciplines.
• Track and present quality KPIs to senior stakeholders.

Job description

Dodge Construction Network (Dodge) is looking for an experienced Data Quality Engineering Lead to ensure the master data content quality and develop systems that continue to improve the quality of the data content. This role requires the ability to define and govern quality strategy to better serve our customers. The ideal candidate bridges the gap between engineering and quality, embedding testing excellence throughout the software development lifecycle.

This is a full-time position and reports directly totheVP, Engineering.

Preferred Location

Qualified candidates should be based in or near Kochi and able to work from our Kochi office as part of a hybrid schedule.

Essential Functions

Test Automation Architecture

• Design, implement and maintain scalable, maintainable data quality automation
• Implement test reporting and analytics solutions, or custom dashboards to surface quality insights

Cloud, DevOps & CI/CD Integration

• Utilize AWS services relevant to quality engineering, including CodePipeline, CodeBuild, ECS, Lambda, S3, and CloudWatch Synthetics
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, BitBucket pipelines, or AWS CodePipeline

Leadership & Quality Strategy

• Define and govern a quality strategy across multiple product teams, including test standards, tooling selection, and metrics frameworks
• Lead and mentor QA engineers and SDETs across automated, manual, and exploratory testing disciplines
• Track and present quality KPIs — including defect escape rate, test coverage, MTTR, and automation ROI — to senior stakeholder

Education Requirement

Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent education and work experience.

• 7+ years of experience in software and quality engineering, with at least 3 years leading data quality engineering
• Proven track record automating and measuring data quality assurance in production environments
• Proficient in SQL
• Proficient in Python or R
