Job summary

Nusummit Technologies is seeking a Privacy Lead to develop and implement a comprehensive data privacy strategy, ensuring compliance with global regulations such as GDPR and DPDPA, and leading policy development and documentation across the organization.

You will oversee DPIAs, privacy-by-design across processes, establish data governance frameworks, stay ahead of regulatory changes, and collaborate with senior management to align privacy initiatives with business goals, including data encryption

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive data privacy strategy and framework for the organization.
• Ensure compliance with global privacy regulations, including DPDPA, GDPR.
• Lead the development and maintenance of privacy policies, procedures, and documentation.
• Oversee privacy impact assessments and data protection impact assessments (DPIA).
• Oversee the implementation of privacy-by-design principles across all business processes and systems.
• Establish and maintain data governance frameworks.
• Collaborate with senior management to align data privacy strategies with business objectives.
• Stay updated on the latest developments in privacy laws, regulations, and technologies.
• Lead the development and implementation of data encryption and security strategies.
