Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking a Data Platform Engineer to design and operate industrial data platforms, integrating gateways and analytics in manufacturing environments.

You will work with HighByte Hub and HiveMQ, OPC UA and Modbus, Kepware, and OT network constraints, contributing to scalable data pipelines and secure edge-to-enterprise connections.

The role requires hands-on experience in industrial connectivity and awareness of cloud/Kubernetes domains.

Job Title

Data Platform Engineer

Required Skills & Experience

• Hands-on experience with HighByte Intelligence Hub and/or HiveMQ (including HiveMQ Enterprise Extensions).
• Familiarity with industrial protocol basics such as OPC UA and Modbus.
• Experience with Kepware or another industrial connectivity gateway.
• Exposure to OT network segmentation, Purdue Model / ISA-95 zoning, and firewall constraints in a plant environment.
• Manufacturing or industrial domain experience.

Certifications

• Azure Administrator / DevOps Engineer
• CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator)
• CKAD (Certified Kubernetes Application Developer)
