Job summary

Lloyds Bank plc in Knowledge Park – Hybrid is seeking a Data Engineer to work with the Team Product Owner, leading data delivery and contributing to the product roadmap. In some cases, you may be an Individual Contributor focusing on laboratory‑level tasks.

You will help develop and operate data management systems, influence IT security policy, and guide colleagues on complex solutions while supporting a wide range of projects and change initiatives.

Qualifications

• Take responsibility for developing and delivering a key element of the organisation’s data management system.
• Provide input into the development of IT security policies and monitor their implementation.
• Analyse and evaluate the feasibility of proposals for complex products/services, and develop or amend solutions with guidance from senior colleagues.
• Manage and deliver required outcomes for a portfolio of projects while reporting to senior colleagues.
• Identify and evaluate complex expertise‑led solutions against a range of criteria to best meet business needs.
• Set long‑term objectives and implement performance‑management systems for a substantial department.
• Lead others in managing output delivery for an operational department.
• Develop and/or operate a knowledge‑management system with guidance from senior colleagues.
• Analyse key themes using data from a wide range of sources to identify potential impacts on the business.
• Implement formal development frameworks for a substantial department, while coaching and mentoring peers.
• Initiate, formulate, and implement new business practices for the discipline and manage significant elements of the organisation’s change‑management programme.
• Build complex frameworks to assess short‑term and long‑term business needs.
• Recommend authoritative technical or professional solutions to improve business performance.
