The role collaborates with IT architects, DevOps, and product owners to translate business needs into backlog items and ensure data quality across the platform. The ideal candidate has 8+ years in data modeling and BA, strong SQL skills, and experience in the banking/financial markets sector, with expertise in Erwin or Enterprise Architect.

• Create and maintain comprehensive data mappings, data lineage, and metadata documentation.
• Collaborate with IT Architects to design and optimize data structures and databases.
• Work closely with DevOps and engineering teams to implement and validate data models.
• Translate business requirements into Product Backlog Items in collaboration with Product Owners.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, consistency, and availability across the data platform.
• Act as the subject matter expert for data sourcing, integration, distribution, and utilization.
• Support data governance initiatives and ensure compliance with organizational standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve data processes and architecture.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in Data Modeling and Business Analysis.
• Strong expertise in conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling.
• Experience in the Banking/Financial Markets domain.
• Knowledge of financial markets products and processes.
• Experience with Erwin, Enterprise Architect, or similar data modeling tools.
• Strong SQL skills for querying and analyzing data.
