Job summary

Circana is seeking a data modeling professional to design and validate multi-dimensional models for analytics, reporting, and BI initiatives. The role collaborates with Engineering, QA, and Product teams to ensure model alignment with business needs and data integrity across systems.

The ideal candidate brings 3+ years in data modeling, strong SQL skills, and experience with data warehousing, star/snowflake schemas, and BI tools.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in data models development.
• Strong SQL and RDBMS skills (SQL Server, Oracle).
• Expertise in data warehousing, OLAP, BI methodologies.
• Knowledge of Star schema and Snowflake schema.
• Understanding of quantitative and statistical techniques.
• Desire to learn new approaches to business modeling.

• Previous experience in data models development (3+ years)


• Strong Database (OLTP/RDBMS) skills in SQL Server, Oracle etc.


• Expertise in Data warehousing, OLAP and business intelligence methodologies


• Knowledge on Star schema and Snowflake schema etc.


• Understanding of quantitative and statistical techniques


• Desire to learn new approaches to business modeling and to make positive contributions

Desirable

• Experience in Reporting tool, such as Power BI, Tableau etc.


• Experience in version control and deployment software, such as SVN, Jenkins etc.


• Experience in industry leading BI tools, such as Cognos, MSAS etc.


• Knowledge in Programming/Scripting language
