Job summary

Eastvantage Group seeks a Data Migration Specialist for a full-time, hybrid role based in Bengaluru South. You will plan, execute, and validate migrations, analyzing data structures, running ETL processes, mapping data, and ensuring integrity across the lifecycle.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, troubleshoot data issues, and document migration status and quality. Prior experience with large datasets and offshore overlap is valued.

Qualifications

• 1-3+ years in data migration, data operations, implementation support, data entry quality control, technical support, or operations support.
• Strong attention to detail and comfort working with large, imperfect datasets.
• Experience working with spreadsheets, CSV files, exports, templates, or structured data.
• Ability to follow technical playbooks and repeatable workflows.
• Comfort learning and running a Rubie vendor workflow; prior coding experience is not required.
• Ability to clearly document issues, assumptions, and next steps.
• Comfortable working offshore with required overlap with U.S.-based teams.
• Self-directed individual contributor who can manage multiple migrations without needing a parade of reminders.

Role Description

The Data Migration Specialist is a full-time role responsible for planning, executing, and validating the migration of data between systems and platforms. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing source and target data structures, designing and running ETL processes, mapping and transforming data, and ensuring data integrity throughout the migration lifecycle. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, troubleshoot data issues, and create documentation and reports on migration status and data quality. The specialist will also perform data reconciliation, support user acceptance testing, and recommend improvements to migration tools and processes. This is a hybrid role based in Bengaluru South, with a combination of office-based work and some work-from-home flexibility.

• Experience supporting data imports, exports, or manual data cleanup projects.


• Familiarity with ticketing or project management tools such as Linear, Jira, HubSpot, Notion, or similar systems.


• Basic understanding of data mapping, field requirements, and QA validation.


• Healthcare, home care, home health, Medicaid, billing, scheduling, or provider operations experience.


• Experience creating SOPs, QA checklists, or process documentation.
