Job summary

MRI Software is seeking an entry-level Data Management Analyst to support our Investment Suite in Cape Town, South Africa. The role focuses on collecting data, processing financial documents, and training clients on MRI's software.

You will communicate with clients and internal teams to ensure timely data handling within SLAs. The ideal candidate has a Finance/Accounting background, strong Excel skills, and a keen eye for detail.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Real Estate, Business Administration or a related field.
  • 1 – 3 year’s experience in a similar role.
  • High attention to detail.
  • High level of accountability and collaboration.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with MS SQL is an advantage.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Finance and/or Accounting Principles.

Position Overview

We are looking for an entry-level Data Management Analyst to join our team focused on our Investment Suite located in Cape Town, South Africa. This role will focus on and provide administrative support for clients’ use of MRI's in-house software applications. We are looking for a detail-oriented professional to collect data and documents from various sources and process monthly, quarterly, and annual financials as well as provide ongoing client training. You will maintain timely communication with clients, ensuring accurate and efficient data collection and processing of financial documents (Interims, Audits, Tax Returns, Budgets, Rent Rolls, etc.). You will be responsible for using in-house software to process data within designated SLAs, while delivering exceptional client service that exceeds expectations. Strong accountability and frequent collaboration with both clients and the internal team are essential. We operate a hybrid working model with 3 days of working from home per week. This role is based in the Cape Town Office, and the successful candidate will need to work partial US hours – 12:00 to 20:30 South African time, Monday to Friday.
