Job summary

Qualifications

Primary Responsibilities:

• Collaborates with cross functional IT areas, including UI & API Development, Infrastructure, Security and Database to define application architecture, strategies, and roadmaps
• Evaluate tools and technologies for future state architecture and evolving business requirements
• Sets enterprise application standard, architectural guidelines, technology policies and procedures
• Oversee development and integration of software and applications under development to identify and remedy potential problem areas and align with technical specifications
• Drive architectural initiative with business partners and customers
• Work with technical leads in scrum teams to provide technical guidance, communicate technical decisions, and mentor developers
• Partner with Operations, Application Development, QA, and Product teams to ensure a consistent technology strategy across teams and products
• Research and evaluate emerging technologies, create proof of concept projects
• Creating project and application architecture deliverables that are consistent with architecture principles, standards, methodologies, and best practices
• Responsible for defining technical evaluation criteria for product and technology selection and determining technical approaches to ensure all architectural solutions result in a coherent systems design
• Leading technical design sessions with the development teams, including the creation of class models, sequence diagrams, component models, etc., and detailed design specifications to ensuring that architecture standards are followed
• Responsible for overall systems design and architecture, including new solutions and patterns

• Train and mentor IT team, provide guidance to development team members

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors / 4 year university degree

• 9+ years of Experience with below mentioned Skills

• Techno - Functional Role
  • Experience in automating deployments using CICD pipelines for prod and non-prod environments (Jenkins and GIT)
  • Provide thought leadership, and end-to-end solution architecture & design of large-scale business Intelligence / data warehouse solution
  • Participate in proposing, designing, and implementing solutions following the best practices of business intelligence / data warehouse solution architecture, standards, methodology and tools used. Develop standards for data governance programs
  • Work with enterprise architects to create application design per business need and implement the architecture. She/he should have in-depth knowledge in user interface design and development along with API services
  • Candidate should have experience in agile development methodologies and should be able to find the right balance between doing it now and doing it right
  • Liaise with Data Architect to ensure architectural requirements like scalability, security, performance, reliability, backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity and archiving strategy are implemented within solutions
  • Gather and fully understand the business requirements and translate the business requirements and conceptual model into technical requirements and communicates these to the Application Development and Infrastructure teams
  • Understand, document, and/or create the application design including the data source mapping and collaborate with upstream/downstream applications
  • Collaborate with teams and grooming individuals on new technologies
  • Supporting them in debugging and resolving issues related to UI and API along with database
  • Interact with stakeholders for proposing new tech stacks and presenting them with the benchmarking results
  • Working with team in optimizing the code and to maintain code level standards
• Team / Project Management
  • Good experience with PM tools like Rally, Jira or others
  • Lead projects completely without manager help, including high level client communication and project planning
  • Manage all Scrum meetings and follow Agile methodology
  • Resolve any challenges/ roadblocks the team is facing to meet project deadlines
  • Perform code reviews, suggest improvements, perform efforts estimation, create delivery plans
  • Participate in campus recruitment/lateral drives. Become an individual interviewer
  • Organize a Hackathon or a Technical Event. Develop capabilities

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certified in Azure Data Engineering (AZ-205)
• Technical lead for Data Engineering - Data pipelines, Data modelling and Data warehouse
• Experience of developing cloud-based API gateways
• Experience & exposure to API integration frameworks
• Proven excellent time management, communication, decision making, and presentation skills
