Job summary

PwC Acceleration Center India is seeking a Data Engineer – Experienced Associate to design, code, and test data-driven applications that power digital transformation for a diverse client portfolio. You will work with Python, SQL, Spark and cloud platforms to build scalable data solutions and contribute to AI-enabled initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant data engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data pipelines, data products, and analytics solutions using Python, SQL, Spark, and modern data engineering tools.
• Support data engineering initiatives on modern cloud data platforms such as Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, Sigma, or similar technologies.
• Build and enhance cloud-based data solutions using Azure services and related technologies.
• Apply data modeling concepts and data lake, lakehouse, and data warehouse principles to support business and analytics requirements.
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to understand requirements and develop effective technical solutions.
• Participate in testing, debugging, performance tuning, and troubleshooting activities to improve solution quality and reliability.
• Support CI/CD, version control, and development best practices to enable efficient solution delivery.
• Contribute to AI-enabled initiatives by supporting Generative AI, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and other emerging AI capabilities.
• Continuously learn and adopt new technologies, tools, and engineering practices to improve technical skills and delivery outcomes.

What You Must Have
