Job summary

Monocept is seeking a Data Engineer specialized in DBT to build and maintain scalable data pipelines on AWS. The role focuses on data modeling, data lakes, and data warehouses to accelerate BI and analytics initiatives.

The ideal candidate will design and optimize ETL/ELT processes, leverage PySpark and SQL, and drive CI/CD practices for data workflows while ensuring observability and data quality across platforms.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services for data engineering.
• Proficiency in Python, PySpark, SQL/PLSQL.
• Solid understanding of data modelling and data warehousing concepts.
• Experience with modern data stack tools (including dbt).
• Working knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD practices for data pipelines.
• Experience in setting up monitoring and observability for data platforms

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines using Python, PySpark, SQL/PLSQL.

• Implement and manage data lake and data warehouse solutions for BI and analytics.

• Set up CI/CD pipelines for data workflows using Jenkins, Terraform, GitLab.
• Establish logging, monitoring, alerting, and dashboards for cloud/data solutions.
• Ensure data quality, reliability, and observability across pipelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support analytics needs
