Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking a data engineering specialist to work on Snowflake-based data warehouses. You will leverage SQL and Snowflake to manipulate data, design scalable data models, and support ETL pipelines with DBT.

Ideal candidates will have strong cloud experience (AWS), data governance and security awareness, and hands-on experience with data modeling and version control (Git). You will collaborate across teams to deliver robust data solutions.

Desired skills:

• Strong experience in Snowflake, SQL for data manipulation and engineering tasks.
• Strong Expertise in SQL and Snowflake architecture
• Experience in ETL tools DBT
• Experience in cloud platforms Preferably AWS
• In-depth knowledge of data warehousing concepts and experience in building and managing data warehouses.
• Knowledge in ETL concepts - needs to manage data migration into Snowflake. This includes extracting data from various sources, transforming it into a usable form, and loading it into the Snowflake platform.
• Knowledge of Data architecture, data governance, data quality standards, and data security practices to ensure compliance and protection of sensitive information
• Strong understanding of data modeling concepts and techniques to create efficient and scalable data models.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS for deploying, managing, and scaling data infrastructure and services.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git for code management and collaboration.
