About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer (0-2 years) to design, build, and deploy data‑driven and AI‑powered solutions. In this role, you will own end‑to‑end data pipelines, model development, and production deployments while collaborating with solution architects and customer teams. You will also contribute to applied GenAI initiatives and innovation projects as part of Comprinno’s Data & AI practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the data preparation, cleaning, and feature engineering workflows for customer and internal projects.
• Design, train, evaluate, and deploy machine learning and deep learning models for real‑world use cases.
• Build production‑grade data pipelines and integrate ML models into customer environments.
• Work with AWS data and AI services (SageMaker, Glue, Redshift, Bedrock, Athena, etc.) to deliver scalable solutions.
• Participate in the development of predictive, prescriptive, and generative AI solutions, including NLP, CV, and LLM‑based applications.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (CloudOps, DevOps, Product) to align data solutions with business outcomes.
• Mentor junior engineers and interns, sharing best practices and reviewing code.
• Document processes, architectures, and workflows for reusability and compliance.
• Stay ahead of industry trends, bringing in new frameworks, tools, and GenAI advancements to projects.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• 0-2 years of hands‑on experience in data science, machine learning, or applied AI.
• Programming skills in Python with ML/DL libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit‑learn) for better collaboration with AI/ML engineers.
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.
• Proven experience with SQL/NoSQL and handling large datasets.
• Experience with big data ecosystems (Spark, Kafka, Snowflake).
• Exposure to AWS cloud services for data engineering and ML deployment.
• Experience with MLOps frameworks (MLflow, Kubeflow, SageMaker Pipelines, CI/CD for ML).
• AWS AI/ML specialty certification or equivalent.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a solution mindset.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.

Desired Qualifications & Skills

• Familiarity with GenAI tools (LangChain, Hugging Face, OpenAI APIs).
• Contribution to open‑source projects, research publications, or hackathons.
• Knowledge of data security, governance, and compliance in regulated industries.
