Job summary

Persistent Systems is seeking a Data Engineer to join a focused team dedicated to health care solutions. You will partner with product owners, analysts, and engineers across all Persistent locations to design, build, and maintain data-intensive applications using Oracle, Snowflake, and cloud platforms.

You will contribute to continuous delivery, DevOps practices, and scalable data platforms while working on initiatives spanning data services and containerized environments.

Qualifications

• 4-6+ years of experience with Oracle PL/SQL.
• 3+ years of experience with Snowflake.
• 5+ years of experience with Unix scripting.
• 4+ years of experience with production operational support.
• 2+ years with CI/CD and DEVOPS model.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product owners, systems analysts and software engineers to deliver against an agile roadmap.
• Work with architects and other software engineers to evaluate functional and non-functional requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Design, develop, test and maintain data-intensive applications including Java, Azure or AWS, Databricks, Spark, relational and non-relational data storage, APIs.
• Follow and improve on processes for continuous delivery and DevOps within your team.
• Build and maintain software using configuration management and automation tools, deployment strategies/processes, and monitoring tools.
• Experienced in Software Engineering practices like Reliability Engineering, Deployment planning, Fault Tolerant architecture, and Test Automation.
• Experience in Data as a Service and Container as a Service models.
• Experience in incident ticket tracking tools and processes like ServiceNow.
• Collaborate on quality strategies that ensure our data platform is correct, resilient, scalable and secure
