What You’ll Do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines, ETL/ELT workflows, and real-time systems for user insights, engagement tracking, and revenue optimization.
• Own the data lake/warehouse architecture and keep it future-proof as we move from millions to 100M+ users.
• Collaborate with product, growth, and content teams to translate business questions into data-driven solutions.
• Implement data governance, monitoring, and validation layers to ensure reliability.
• Work on recommendation, personalization, and ad-tech data models in partnership with product/AI teams.
• Thrive in a fast-paced startup environment where experiments run daily, and shipping fast beats polishing forever.

What We’re Looking For

• 5–10 years of Data Engineering experience (consumer-tech / OTT / adtech exposure = big plus).
• Strong hands-on with SQL + Python + distributed systems (Spark, Kafka, Flink, etc.).
• Proven experience designing and managing data infrastructure on AWS and GCP (multi-cloud comfort = ideal).
• Knowledge of data warehousing & lakehouse solutions (BigQuery, Redshift, Snowflake, Databricks, etc.).
• Experience with real-time streaming + batch pipelines.
• Familiarity with analytics platforms/dashboards (Looker, Power BI, or similar).
• Startup DNA: you can juggle priorities, solve problems without perfect processes, and still deliver clean, working pipelines.
• Bonus: Interest in recommendation engines, ad monetization, or token economies.
