As a leader in Fintech, we’re committed to excellence, driving forward‑thinking solutions that empower businesses worldwide. We’re looking for a Data Engineer to join our growing technology team. You'll play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining the data infrastructure that powers our platform—enabling trusted insights, real‑time analytics, and data‑driven decision‑making across the business.

You'll work with modern cloud technologies and data engineering tools to develop robust batch and streaming pipelines, manage large‑scale datasets, and ensure data is accurate, secure, and accessible. Collaborating closely with analysts, engineers, product teams, and stakeholders, you’ll help transform complex data into a strategic asset that drives innovation and growth. If you thrive in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment and enjoy solving complex data challenges at scale, this could be a great fit.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Build and operate batch and streaming data pipelines with strong scalability, performance, and fault tolerance.
  • Implement and monitor ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to gather data from various sources.
  • Write clean, testable Python/PySpark code using object‑oriented principles and unit testing.
  • Develop and manage databases and data warehouses and optimise database performance and storage across multiple platforms, e.g. Snowflake, PostgreSQL RDS & Aurora.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and reliability, whilst adhering to data security best practices.
  • Work closely with data analysts and other stakeholders to understand data requirements.
  • Collaborate with teammates in an agile, dynamic environment to deliver reliable outcomes.
  • Partner with Customer Support & Relationship Management for data‑related queries and issues.
  • Collaborate with the wider Engineering Team to integrate data solutions into the overall architecture.
About You
  • Previous experience in Data Engineering, around 3‑7 years of experience.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases such as Snowflake, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
  • Experience building and maintaining data pipelines and ETL workflows using technologies such as AWS Glue, AWS Lambda, AWS EMR, Talend, or Azure Data Factory.
  • Strong Python development skills, including experience with AWS SDKs such as Boto3.
  • Experience working with cloud platforms and data services, preferably AWS.
  • A solid understanding of data warehousing, distributed data processing, and modern data architecture principles.
  • Experience within the FinTech, payments, or financial services industry is advantageous but not essential.
  • A proactive mindset, strong problem‑solving skills, and a passion for building reliable data solutions at scale.
Benefits
  • Health: Insurance (Employee, Spouse, and Two Children) optional cover for parents or in laws. 15 personal days per year + Festival holidays. You can also take your birthday off as paid leave, and we offer a paid day off for any charity work you want to participate in.
  • Enrichment: Learning and development training, to strengthen your career and progression, leadership in‑house training and monthly lunch and learn.
  • Social: Monthly team outings & incentives. Some of our recent ones include Hackathon, Lunch and Learns and team building games.
