Job summary

Kyndryl is seeking a senior Data Engineer in Karnataka, India to design and implement high-performance data pipelines powering autonomous systems. You will architect, test, deploy, and build CI/CD pipelines, delivering end-to-end solutions while documenting and unit-testing components.

You will work on ownership-driven tasks, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and apply best practices in data modeling, security, and operations to ensure scalable, reliable data infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years exp required.
• Strong Python skills for developing and maintaining data pipelines; writes clean, efficient, and testable code.
• Experience with data pipelines, ingestion processes, SQL, and data modeling.
• Hands-on with AWS services such as IAM, S3, Glue, Lambda, RDS, Firehose, EventBridge, and CloudWatch; understands distributed data systems.
• Experience with Jenkins, GitLab, and deployment workflows.
• Troubleshooting using logs and documentation; solution-oriented mindset.
• Delivers tasks end-to-end, works independently, and escalates when needed.
• Provides clear updates and collaborates effectively with teams.
• Validates outputs, tests pipelines, and ensures high-quality deliverables.
• Experience with Terraform, tfsec, and infrastructure security best practices.
