Job summary

Aeris Communications Inc. is seeking a data engineer to design and maintain an enterprise data lake, develop ETL pipelines, and build ML models for forecasting. You will create AI agents and MCP integrations using LLM APIs and ensure data quality across complex data pipelines.

The role requires 4+ years of experience, strong Python/SQL, and GCP expertise. Hybrid work arrangement in Noida & Gurgaon with 3 days work-from-office.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in data engineering or related field.
• Hands-on experience designing and building data lakes and ETL pipelines.
• Strong Python skills for data processing and API integrations.
• Proficient in SQL and data modeling for complex queries.
• Extensive GCP experience (BigQuery, Cloud Storage, CloudRun, Secret Manager).

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain enterprise data lake on BigQuery with ingestion, transformation, and scheduling processes.
• Design and implement ETL pipelines across ERP/CRM sources.
• Experiment with ML models for forecasting and business insights.
• Develop AI agents and MCP tool integrations using LLM APIs.
• Ensure data quality, monitoring, and alerting across pipelines.

Role Summary

Build and maintain the enterprise data lake, design ETL pipelines, develop ML models for forecasting, and create AI agents/MCP integrations using LLM APIs.

Required Skills:

• Python ETL — Pandas, NumPy, data modelling, API integrations
• SQL — Complex queries, schema design, performance tuning
• GCP — BigQuery, Cloud Storage, CloudRun, Secret Manager
• Data Lake Design — Ingestion from ERP/CRM systems (NetSuite, Salesforce), schema evolution, data quality
• REST API — Development and consumption (OAuth, webhooks)
• Git & CI/CD — Version control and deployment basics

Preferred Skills:

• AI Agent Development — Tool-calling agents, MCP servers, LLM APIs (Claude, Gemini, OpenAI)
• Machine Learning — Time series forecasting, predictive modelling (Prophet, XGBoost, SARIMAX)
• BI Tools — Qlik or Looker
