Job summary

Tart Labs in Coimbatore is seeking a senior Data Engineer to build scalable data workflows and analytics solutions. You will work on ETL/ELT pipelines, AI-enabled data platforms, and RAG implementations across Snowflake, Airflow, Segment, Power BI, and Tableau.

Lead data modeling for real-time and batch analytics, integrate data from multiple sources, and create interactive dashboards. Onsite role with collaboration with AI/ML teams for data accuracy and impact.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics, and data infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and manage robust ETL/ELT pipelines for diverse data sources.

• Build and maintain data workflows using Airbyte, Debezium, and Kafka (CDC), leveraging orchestration tools like Apache Airflow.

• Integrate data from Segment.com, CRM systems, marketing platforms, and product usage logs.

• Develop Snowflake data models to support real-time and batch analytics.

• Build data pipelines for Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), vector databases, and prompt optimization to enable LLM-powered applications.

• Create and manage interactive, data-rich dashboards using Power BI (mandatory) and Tableau.

• Define KPIs and build real-time reports for marketing, sales, and operations teams with business stakeholders.

• Optimize data models and queries to enhance dashboard performance and usability.

• Build tech-driven marketing pipelines for customer segmentation, campaign analytics, and attribution modeling.

• Integrate event streams, web/app analytics, and user behavior tracking for personalization strategies.

• Collaborate with growth and marketing teams to enable data-backed decision-making.

• Ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance across platforms.

• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for critical pipelines.

• Optimize query performance, resource usage, and cost efficiency in Snowflake and other platforms.

• Maintain comprehensive documentation for data sources, transformations, and dependencies.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, specifically focused on ETL, analytics, and data infrastructure.

• Expertise in modern data ingestion tools: Airbyte, Debezium, Kafka (CDC pipelines).

• Familiarity with orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow. DBT, Talend, or Fivetran experience is a plus.

• Strong experience with Snowflake, including schema design, performance tuning, and cost optimization.

• Experience with Segment.com, attribution models, and product analytics integration.

• Familiarity with RAG architectures, vector stores (Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS), and LLM data pipelines.

• Hands-on experience with Power BI for business reporting and dashboarding (mandatory).

• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and working with APIs.

• Familiarity with Git, data CI/CD workflows, and data testing strategies.

• Full-time, onsite availability in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.
