Job summary

Dexian in Chennai is seeking a senior data engineer to design and optimize enterprise data pipelines. You will implement ingestion, transformation, and optimization of sources into Fabric Lakehouse environments, focusing on reliability and performance.

Lead activities around Fivetran connectors, Bronze-to-Silver transformations, and incremental load/CDC logic, while tuning lakehouse storage and supporting promotion between Dev, Test, and Prod to enable smooth delivery of analytics workloads.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of data engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric or Azure Synapse/Data Factory.
• Strong experience with Fivetran or similar ELT tools.
• Experience handling high-volume datasets (hundreds of millions of records).
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and data modeling concepts.
• Strong understanding of Medallion architecture.
