About the Role

We are looking for a Data Engineer to design scalable data models, build robust pipelines, and ensure reliable, high‑quality data across the company. You will own our data infrastructure end‑to‑end, enabling smarter decisions, automation, and personalized customer experiences.

Responsibilities

• Design the data model for data collection in the data warehouse.
• Collect and store data from existing and new data sources in the Data Warehouse and Data Lakes.
• Build ELT/ETL solutions to enable batch processing and real‑time data processing.
• Maintain data pipelines and monitor pipeline health.
• Promote data quality through Data Fitness, Data Lineage, Data Governance, and Data Stability.
• Perform query performance tuning on the data warehouse for faster and reliable data querying through BI tools.
• Use Master Data Management techniques such as Customer 360 to integrate all customer data and interactions for a comprehensive view of customers.
• Build automation workflows and integrations for data transfer to various tools and applications.
• Work with internal stakeholders to maintain and improve data lifecycle in the company.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of relevant experience.
• Experience writing and optimizing complex SQL queries.
• Experience with programming languages like Python.
• Experience managing data warehouses, such as BigQuery or Snowflake.
• Experience with 3NF, dimensional models, and Data Vault.
• Expertise building ETL pipelines and pipeline frameworks like Airbyte, AWS Firehose, Airflow, dbt.
• Experience with engineering processes like Unit Testing and CI/CD.
• Hands‑on experience in the AWS ecosystem.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Looker and Superset.
• Outstanding critical thinking and analytical skills.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently as well as in a team, and comfortable in a dynamic environment.
• Efficiently organized and detail‑oriented, ensuring quality and accuracy of the output.
• Ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and collaborate across departments.
