Job summary

Citigroup Inc. in Chennai is seeking a Data Architecture Intermediate Analyst to join our technology team. You will apply data analysis methods and integrate industry standards to support risk information and reporting, with a focus on accuracy and actionable insights.

You will work with information owners and tech partners to define roadmaps, present results to senior management, and help implement data collection methodologies across multiple sources, ensuring timely, high-quality service.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of Banking or Financial Services experience.
• Experience in analyzing and defining risk management data structures and architecture.
• Demonstrated influencing, facilitation and partnering skills.
• Track record of interfacing with and presenting results to senior management.
• Analytical, flexible, team-oriented and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepares materials for Monthly Operating Reviews (MORs), Portfolio Reviews, Horizontal meetings, Town Halls and Staff Meetings.
• Performs analysis of data quality issues and deliver metrics reporting.
• Supports Managers with status reports and presentation content; guides data analysis and reporting processes across multiple sources, validation, and presentation of required data.
• Develops new data collection and evaluation methodologies, including data format design, compilation, relevancy and metrics.
• Helps define and manage target data architecture for risk information.
• Liaises with Citi risk organizations to ensure alignment with Citi Data Standards.
• Collaborates with information owners and technology partners to define and implement the roadmap.
• Assess risk in business decisions, uphold Citi policies and ensure ethical conduct, escalating and reporting control issues.

The Data Architecture Intmd Anlyst is a developing professional role. Deals with most problems independently and has some latitude to solve complex problems. Integrates in-depth specialty area knowledge with a solid understanding of industry standards and practices. Good understanding of how the team and area integrate with others in accomplishing the objectives of the subfunction/ job family. Applies analytical thinking and knowledge of data analysis tools and methodologies. Requires attention to detail when making judgments and recommendations based on the analysis of factual information. Typically deals with variable issues with potentially broader business impact. Applies professional judgment when interpreting data and results. Breaks down information in a systematic and communicable manner. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to exchange potentially complex/sensitive information. Moderate but direct impact through close contact with the businesses' core activities. Quality and timeliness of service provided will affect the effectiveness of own team and other closely related teams.
