Job summary

Lever, Inc. is seeking a senior Data Architect in India to design and evolve a robust enterprise data landscape using SQL Server 2025, Power BI, and NetSuite. You will focus on data integrity, security, performance, and reliable information flows across complex environments.

You’ll lead ETL design with SSIS, implement RLS, and champion data quality and deduplication practices while partnering with stakeholders to deliver scalable, business-focused data solutions.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of professional experience in data architecture or related fields.
• Deep expertise with SQL Server 2025, including Temporal Tables and Resource Governor.
• Strong experience implementing Row-Level Security (RLS) and data privacy controls.
• Hands-on SSIS ETL development and advanced T-SQL optimization.
• Experience establishing data quality practices and deduplication strategies.
• Familiarity with Power BI and NetSuite ecosystems for enterprise reporting.

Responsibilities

This is a senior data architecture role focused on designing and evolving a robust enterprise data landscape.
You’ll shape scalable data solutions across SQL Server, Power BI, and NetSuite to support business intelligence and advanced analytics.
The role has a strong emphasis on data integrity, security, performance, and reliable information flows across complex environments.
You’ll work on modern SQL Server capabilities, sophisticated ETL processes, and advanced database programming to improve how data is managed and consumed.
A key part of the position involves establishing strong data quality and deduplication practices to ensure trusted, consistent datasets.
You’ll collaborate closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions aligned with enterprise needs.

Accountabilities

• Enterprise data architecture: Design and evolve robust data architectures that support complex operational and analytical requirements while ensuring scalability, reliability, security, and performance.
• SQL Server architecture: Design and implement advanced SQL Server 2025 solutions, including the use of Temporal Tables for historical data tracking and Resource Governor for effective workload management.
• Data security: Establish and enforce Row-Level Security (RLS) protocols to protect sensitive information and ensure appropriate access controls and compliance requirements are maintained.
• ETL and integration: Architect and optimize SSIS-based ETL processes to enable seamless data integration, transformation, and movement across enterprise systems.
• Database development and performance: Write, review, and optimize complex T-SQL scripts to improve query performance, system efficiency, and overall database reliability.
• Data quality: Establish comprehensive data quality frameworks and processes to maintain accurate, consistent, complete, and reliable datasets across the organization.
• Deduplication and data integrity: Implement sophisticated deduplication strategies to eliminate redundant records and strengthen the overall reliability and integrity of enterprise data.
• Business and technical collaboration: Partner with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable, secure, and effective technical data solutions.
• Business intelligence enablement: Support enterprise reporting and analytical capabilities by ensuring data architectures are structured to meet advanced Power BI and business intelligence requirements.

Requirements

• Professional experience: Minimum of 12 years of professional experience in data architecture, database management, or closely related disciplines.
• SQL Server expertise: Deep expertise with SQL Server 2025, including hands-on knowledge of Temporal Tables and Resource Governor capabilities.
• Data security: Strong proficiency in implementing and managing Row-Level Security (RLS) and applying appropriate data access and privacy controls.
• ETL and database programming: Hands-on experience with SSIS for data integration and transformation, combined with strong proficiency in advanced T-SQL development and optimization.
• Data quality and integrity: Demonstrated experience establishing data quality practices, maintaining data integrity, and implementing effective deduplication strategies.
• Business intelligence and ERP knowledge: Familiarity with Power BI and NetSuite ecosystems, particularly in relation to enterprise reporting, analytics, and resource planning.
• Architectural thinking: Ability to design scalable technical solutions and make sound architectural decisions across complex enterprise data environments.
• Stakeholder management: Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into practical technical solutions.
• Industry awareness: Ability to work effectively within the IT Services sector and deliver data solutions aligned with established technical and industry standards.
• Analytical mindset: Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a structured approach to improving data performance, quality, and reliability.
