You will partner with business and engineering teams to define architecture, governance, and best practices, building reusable data models and APIs, with practical implementation experience rather than design-only work.

Qualifications

Job description

We are seeking a hands-on Data Architect with extensive experience in designing, implementing, and governing enterprise-scale data platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Data Lakes, Databricks, BigQuery, Data Pipelines, Data Products, and Business Intelligence (BI), with proven experience delivering scalable, secure, and high-performance data solutions.

This is a solution-level architecture role requiring the candidate to work closely with business and engineering teams to define data architecture, establish best practices, and deliver modern data platforms.

This is not a design-only architecture role. Candidates must have hands-on implementation experience in building Data Lakes, developing ETL/ELT pipelines, implementing Data Products and APIs, designing enterprise data models, and delivering secure, governed, and scalable data platforms using Databricks and BigQuery.

• 10+ years of overall IT experience with strong expertise in enterprise data architecture.
• Mandatory hands-on experience designing and implementing modern cloud-based data platforms.
• Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale data architecture solutions from design through production.
• Strong stakeholder management and solution architecture experience.
• Experience with cloud-native data platforms - Azure Cloud
• Exposure to real-time or streaming data architectures.
• Experience implementing enterprise data governance frameworks and best practices.
• Knowledge of modern analytics, semantic models, and self-service BI platforms.
