Job summary

Qualifications

• 10+ years in data architecture for enterprise-scale platforms.
• Expert in cloud data ecosystems (AWS/Azure/GCP) and data lakes/warehouses.
• Hands-on with ETL/ELT tools (Informatica, Talend, dbt, Databricks, Spark).
• Experience with data governance, data quality, and MDM practices.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to present architecture to technical and business audiences.

Responsibilities

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Data Architect to design, govern, and evolve enterprise data architecture supporting large-scale telecom/technology programs. The role involves defining data strategy, standards, and blueprints that enable scalable, secure, and high-performing data platforms across on-prem and cloud environments.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Design end-to-end data architecture (data lake, data warehouse, data mesh) aligned with business and technical requirements
• Define data models (conceptual, logical, physical) and enforce data governance, quality, and security standards
• Architect solutions for data ingestion, transformation, storage, and consumption across structured/unstructured sources
• Evaluate and select appropriate technologies (cloud data platforms, ETL/ELT tools, databases) for scalability and cost efficiency
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, engineering teams, and presales to translate requirements into architecture blueprints
• Establish data integration strategies across legacy and modern systems, including APIs and streaming pipelines
• Define and enforce metadata management, data lineage, and master data management (MDM) practices
• Provide architectural oversight during implementation, ensuring adherence to design principles and best practices
• Mentor data engineering teams and review technical designs for scalability, performance, and compliance
• Support presales/solutioning efforts with architecture diagrams, technical proposals, and effort estimation

Requirements

Required Skills Experience:

• 10+ years in data architecture, with proven experience designing enterprise-scale data platforms
• Strong expertise in cloud data ecosystems (AWS/Azure/GCP) data lakes, warehouses (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, Synapse)
• Deep knowledge of data modeling techniques (dimensional, normalized, data vault)
• Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools (Informatica, Talend, dbt, Databricks, Spark)
• Strong understanding of data governance frameworks, data quality, and MDM tools
• Experience with streaming/real-time data architectures (Kafka, Kinesis, Event Hubs)
• Familiarity with telecom domain data (network, billing, customer, OSS/BSS) preferred
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to present architecture to technical and business audiences
• Relevant certifications (AWS/Azure/GCP data architecture, TOGAF) are a plus
