Job summary

Tarento, a fast-growing technology consulting company with a global client base, is seeking an experienced Data Architect. You will design scalable data platforms to support business analytics, AI, and operational/supply-chain use cases, leveraging Azure and Databricks.

You will define data models, data flows, and integration patterns, collaborate with Data Engineers and Data Scientists, ensure data governance, quality, security, and performance, and guide end-to-end data solutions across

Data Architect

We are looking for an experienced Data Architect with strong expertise in designing and implementing scalable data platforms to support business analytics, AI, and operational/supply-chain use cases.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and define scalable data architecture, data models, data flows, and integration solutions.
• Architect and implement modern cloud data solutions using Microsoft Azure and Databricks.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into data and analytics solutions.
• Guide the design of data pipelines, transformation frameworks, and data integration using SQL, Python, and PySpark.
• Ensure data platforms meet requirements around data quality, governance, security, performance, and scalability.
• Build data foundations that support advanced analytics, machine learning, Generative AI, and LLM use cases.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers, Data Scientists, and business teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Support supply-chain and operational analytics initiatives and integrate data from multiple business sources.
• Provide technical direction and architecture guidance to engineering and analytics teams.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Data Architecture and Data Modelling.
• Hands-on experience with Azure and Databricks.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and PySpark.
• Experience with Data Lake / Lakehouse, ETL/ELT, and data integration.
• Good understanding of data governance, data quality, metadata, and data security.
• Experience designing data platforms for analytics and AI workloads.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, or AI data pipelines.
• Experience in Supply Chain, Operations, Manufacturing, or Retail analytics.
• Azure / Databricks certifications.
• Experience with enterprise-scale data modernization or cloud migration programs.
