Job summary

The Quest Center seeks a dynamic part-time teacher to deliver Data Analytics training to final year BCA students. Classes run in-person in Pune (2 days/week) and online (2 days/week). Compensation includes Rs 1500 per in-person session and Rs 800 per online session.

Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and qualified teacher to teach our Data Analytics curriculum to final year BCA degree students in-person and over live online classes. We have created a Data Analytics and AI Tools curriculum, with hands-on assignments and real world projects. The candidate should have a strong understanding of these areas and should be able to guide students in assignments, clarify any doubts, hold group discussions and help prepare students for interviews.

Position: Part-time

Location: In-person in Pune City 2 days a week, 1.5 hour class each day

Online 2 days a week, 1.5 hour class each day

Payment: Rs 1500 for in-person session, Rs 800 for online session

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct classes for a class size of up to 25 students
• Encourage student participation in the classes and hold group discussions
• Respond to students questions on email and messaging
• Grade assignments and projects
• Coordinate with college administration on scheduling classes
• Assist in designing assignments and projects as part of curriculum design
• Act as a liaison between our placement team, college administration and students to facilitate student job interviews

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Computers or equivalent courses
• Proficient in Python, SQL, Power BI/Tableau, Prompt Engineering, Claude Code
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluency in English and Hindi (Marathi is a plus)
• Prior experience as a teacher/teaching assistant/tutor
