Job summary

TP is seeking an analytics specialist to perform general analytics, statistical modeling, and data visualization across multiple business domains. You will define data requirements, collect and process data, and build models to answer business questions and improve decisions.

You will also lead a team, drive automation, mentors colleagues, and contribute to large-scale data projects across functions such as market economics, supply chain, and marketing analytics.

Qualifications

• General analytics and statistical modeling on datasets across business areas such as Market Economics, Supply Chain, Marketing/Advertising, Financial Services, or Scientific Research.
• Define data requirements and perform data collection, processing, cleaning, analysis, modeling and visualization.
• Lead and mentor others; drive development of new data-driven solutions and automation opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Examine data patterns and trends to answer business questions and improve decision making.
• Provide inputs for complex Data Science and Big Data Mining projects.
• Ensure short- to medium-term activities align with department strategy and policy standards.
• Lead a team of specialists with lifecycle responsibilities and coaching duties.

Job description

Responsible for performing general analytics and statistical modeling on existing data sets in various areas of the business (e.g., Market Economics, Supply Chain, Marketing/Advertising, Financial Services, Scientific Research, etc.). Activities include: defining data requirements, data collection, processing, cleaning, analysis, modeling and visualization. Examines and identifies data patterns and trends to help answer business questions and improve decision making. Provides inputs for complex Data Science and Big Data Mining projects. Identifies areas to increase efficiency and automation of data analysis processes.
Experienced Specialist in one specialized discipline as well as having a thorough understanding of related disciplines. Will most often be a driving force behind the development of new solutions for programs, complex projects, processes or activities. Serves as final decision/opinion maker in the area, coaches, mentors and trains others on the area of expertise.

Ensures the implementation of short to medium term activities within the business area OR support sub-function in the context of the strategy for the department. Ensures appropriate policies, processes standards are developed and implemented to support short to medium term tactical direction. Leads a team of Specialists ,sometimes with several hierarchical levels, with full employee lifecycle responsibility.
