Job summary

The Master Data Management team at State Street Bangalore is seeking a data-focused analyst for a permanent role. You will manage and analyze static data, ensure data quality, and support data standard adherence across business units.

Strong Excel/macros, VBA and SQL knowledge will help you tackle data issues and drive improvements. Collaboration with SMEs and cross-functional teams is essential, as well as clear communication with customers and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Min a bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 2 to 4 year of exp in data analysis, data management or client static data.
• Preferably experience with industry standards, reference data, remediation or data quality.
• Exposure/ working knowledge of creating and maintaining Excel Macros
• Operational efficiency, Performance and Quality Focus
• Manages, analyzes, and resolves data initiative issues and manages revisions needed to best meet internal and customer requirements while adhering to published data standards.
• Good communication skills to interact with customers, team members, external data providers, and management.
• Proficient in MS office with excel and word.
• Ability to demonstrate initiative and apply creative thinking to problems and systems/process improvements
• Provides assistance in resolving data quality problems through the appropriate choice of error detection and correction, process control and improvement, or process design strategies collaborating with subject matter experts (SMEs)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Exposure/ working knowledge of creating and maintaining Excel Macros
